Skills Strategy & Workforce Development

The skills your workforce has today may not be the skills you need tomorrow. We help organizations map current capabilities, identify critical gaps, and build the pathways to close them — before the gap becomes a crisis.

Build tomorrow's workforce today.

Every major shift — AI adoption, digital transformation, workforce turnover, mission expansion — creates a skills gap. The organizations that navigate those shifts successfully are the ones that saw the gap coming and started building capability before they needed it.

We specialize in helping organizations understand exactly where their workforce capability stands, where it needs to go, and what a realistic, sustainable development pathway looks like. That includes designing SkillBridge programs to integrate transitioning military talent — one of the most underutilized competitive advantages available to U.S. organizations.

Frequently asked questions

What is SkillBridge and how can it benefit our organization?

SkillBridge is a DoD program that allows transitioning service members to work with civilian employers for up to 180 days before they separate from the military — at no cost to the employer. The service member continues receiving military pay and benefits during this time. It's one of the most cost-effective ways to access highly trained, mission-driven talent. We help organizations design and stand up SkillBridge programs that meet DoD requirements and deliver genuine value to both the veteran and the employer.

How is a competency framework different from a job description?

A job description tells someone what they'll do. A competency framework defines what capabilities they need to do it — and do it excellently. Competency frameworks connect hiring, onboarding, development, performance management, and succession planning into a coherent system. They're foundational to any serious workforce development effort.

The best time to build capability was yesterday.
The second best time is now.
