Why I coach.

I didn't get here by figuring it all out alone. I got here because the right people showed up at the right time and told me the truth about what I was good at, what I was missing, and what my next move should be. Some of those conversations didn't cost me a thing. Some were worth more than I could have paid for. I carry that.

Coaching, for me, isn't a revenue line. It's a responsibility. If you're navigating something hard — a transition, a plateau, a reinvention — and you need someone who's actually been through it, I'm here to do what was done for me: show up honestly, ask the right questions, and help you see what's next.

This isn't a packaged curriculum. It's a real conversation with someone who has built networks from scratch, transitioned from military service, navigated career pivots, and learned how to create opportunity when none was obvious. That's what I bring to every session.

What we can work on.

Every coaching engagement starts with your situation — not a framework. These are the areas I work in most. Most clients find their work crosses several of them.

Career Transition & Job Search Strategy

Whether you're leaving the military, pivoting industries, returning after a gap, or stuck in a search that isn't working — let's get it moving.

Career transitions are hard because the tools that got you here don't always work for what's next. Military service doesn't translate automatically to civilian language. A decade in one industry doesn't always travel well to another. And a traditional job search in a non-traditional market often produces silence.

We diagnose what's not working and build a strategy that fits your actual situation — not a generic framework. That might mean rebuilding your resume narrative, re-thinking which sectors make sense, or fixing the part of your process where good candidates get stuck: the follow-up, the interview, the negotiation.

  • Civilian translation for military careers
  • Resume positioning and narrative
  • Interview strategy and preparation
  • Offer evaluation and negotiation
  • Sector navigation
  • Job search systems that actually work

Networking & Relationship Building

Most people network wrong. It's not about collecting contacts — it's about creating connection that moves things forward for both people.

Real networking is the most underutilized competitive advantage in most people's careers. Not the kind where you collect business cards and follow up with generic LinkedIn messages — the kind where you build genuine relationships with people who want to see you succeed.

I developed the Connector Profile specifically to help people understand their natural relationship-building style and put it to work. We'll look at how you connect, where you're leaving opportunity on the table, and how to build a network that actually opens doors — without feeling like you're performing.

  • LinkedIn strategy and meaningful outreach
  • Relationship mapping and management
  • Connector Profile assessment and debrief
  • Building a referral network
  • Staying top of mind without being annoying
  • Networking for introverts and reluctant networkers

Leadership & Professional Development

Leadership isn't what they give you. It's what you build.

Whether you're managing your first team, trying to influence without authority, or working toward the next level — leadership is a practice, not a title. We work on the specific gaps between where you are and where you want to be: how you communicate, how you show up in rooms that matter, and how you navigate organizational dynamics without losing yourself in the process.

This is also about the harder, less visible work — building self-awareness, managing your own energy, knowing when to push and when to listen. The leaders people remember are the ones who figured out how to bring out the best in others. Let's build that.

  • Managing up and across
  • Executive presence
  • Communicating for influence
  • Navigating organizational dynamics
  • Building your personal board of directors
  • Mentoring others and being mentored

AI Adoption & Practical Application

AI isn't replacing workers — it's replacing workers who don't use it. Let's make sure that's not you.

Most professionals know they should be using AI tools. Most aren't using them well. We focus on practical application: the specific tools, prompts, and workflows that actually move the needle in your role — not theoretical frameworks or vendor pitches.

If you're a manager, we'll work on what AI means for your team's capacity and your own. If you're an individual contributor, we'll work on how to stand out by doing more, faster, with better output. If you're trying to stay relevant in an industry that's shifting fast, we'll build a plan that keeps you ahead of it.

  • AI tools for your specific role
  • Prompt engineering for real work
  • Staying relevant in an AI-augmented workforce
  • Managing AI adoption on your team
  • Building AI confidence and fluency
  • Career future-proofing

Career Readiness & Opportunity Creation

You don't find opportunities. You build the conditions for them.

Early career, career change, re-entry after time off — wherever you are, the challenge is often not knowing where to start. We build your professional identity, clarify your direction, and create a concrete plan for getting traction. This is practical, honest, and grounded in what actually works.

Opportunity doesn't just appear. It shows up for people who've done the work to be ready for it: who know what they want, have built the network to find it, and can make a compelling case for why they're the right person. Let's do that work together.

  • Professional identity and personal brand
  • LinkedIn and resume strategy from scratch
  • Job search for people starting fresh
  • Building experience strategically
  • Goal setting and accountability
  • First moves and quick wins
